Martin Niemöller’s poem inscribed on a stone in the New England Holocaust Memorial. (The line about Catholics was not Niemöller’s).
They came first for the socialists,
and I did not speak out because I was not a socialist.
Then they came for the trade unionists,
and I did not speak out because I was not a trade unionist.
Then they came for the Jews,
and I did not speak out because I was not a Jew.
Then they came for the Catholics,
and I didn’t speak up because I was a Protestant.
Then they came for me,
and there was no one left to speak for me.
Martin Niemoller, 1945
我没有说话,因为我不是共产主义者;
我没有说话,因为我不是犹太人;
我没有说话,因为我不是工会会员;
我没有说话,因为我是新教徒;

我没有说话,因为我用不着维基;
我也没有说话,因为我不看youtube;
我还是没有说话,因为我还可以用百度;
