As a second language learner
I always want to sharpen my writing and reading skills in English. Since left school and work, there are a few chances in writing on it except chatting on MSN. So here is my plan set for sharpening my skills before it vanished, reading a piece of article a day and writing a piece here.
To start with, here comes the news of my choice today.
Detroit Goes for Electric Cars, but will Drivers? From the New York Times.
It is not an eviornmental issue but a manufacturer towards consumer market article. The news is writing about Japan and US auto manufacturers producing electric cars but one more manufacturer is working on it and it is in China, BYD Auto (比亞廸), calling the new series as DM (Dual Mode)
I first knew about BYD Auto electric car was on CCTV2, a program about new energy, two months before Warren Buffett buy in action announced. There were lines of electric cars ready on the comany drive. The spokeman said they have no worry about batteries as they are the battery manufacturer. Wow, I was stuned, they have the advantage and is ahead everyone in the industry. Though I am not a stock market investor, I regret not buying in their stocks before Buffett.
